This week D’Andre discusses:
This slogan has been around for years and it has been used to promote hard work in the gym but it may also be the cause of many unnecessary injuries.
When you train hard and you feel the soreness in your muscles that’s a good pain. That’s your old muscles being broken down and replaced with stronger more durable muscles.
However, when you train hard and you feel pain in your joints or sharp pain elsewhere, that means that your body is telling you that you’re doing damage and should stop immediately.
Whenever you’re doing a new exercise or using a new piece of equipment please consult an XL Trainer to make sure that you are doing it the proper way. Remember, 2 minutes of consulting a trainer can save 2 months of pain and rehabilitation.
